TOA Cleanable & Antibacterial interior emulsion paint is made from Acrylic emulsion with advantages: smooth paint film with able anti-bacteria, long lasting color without leaving any stain after cleaning. Moreover, TOA Cleanable & Antibacterial has got other outstanding properties: cleanable, anti-fungus and algae, easy to touch up, high hiding.

Intended use:

TOA Cleanable & Antibacterial is suitable for new and previously painted interior masonry surfaces such as concrete, mortar, cement plaster, brick, gypsum board, light cement board, etc.

Solids by volume: 41 ± 2
Theoretical coverage: 10.3 -13.7 m²/liter/coat. Actual surface coverage will be depended on the spreading of paint film ability, dry film thickness, surface irregularities, technique and wastage during painting.
Volatile Organic Compound (VOCs): ≤ 25 g/L
The drying time, Relative Humidity (RH) 50%:
- Substrate temperature 30°C:
- Surface (touch) dry 0.5h:
- Hard dry 4h:
- Painting interval, minimum: 2h
The actual drying time and painting interval time may be longer or shorter, depending on the ambient temperature, film thickness, ventilation, humidity, number of paint coatings, etc.:

Application tools: Brush, roller, conventional spray
Guiding data for airless spray:
- Nozzle tip size: 0.021 – 0.027”
- Spray angle degrees: 65 – 80º
- Pressure at nozzle: 140 – 190 Kg/cm2 (2.000-2.600 Psi)
Dilution: The paint is ready to use after proper stirring until homogeneous. If thinning is required, clean water may be added up to a maximum of 5%.

SURFACE PREPARATION

New surface

Let the concrete, cement plaster and mortar must be cured at least 28 days in ambient conditions (average temperature is 25°C -30°C, relative humidity is under <75%), the surface moisture is not exceeded 16% (specialized measuring testing equipment). pH value is about 6-9.

Remove all dust, grease, wax, laitance, chalking and other contaminants from the surface by specialized machine as: grinding, sanding, vacuum cleaner, high pressure water jet and proper cleaning.

Apply 2 coats TOA PRO PUTTY or SUPERTECH PRO PUTTY INTERIOR for smooth surface.

Old surface

Remove all dust, fungus, algae, old loose paint or other contaminants from the surface by specialized machine as: grinding, sanding, vacuum cleaner, high pressure water jet and proper cleaning.

Then, treat the areas attacked by fungus or algae with proper chemicals.

Wash the surface if required, and let it fully dry, the substrate moisture must be less than 16% (specialized measuring testing equipment).

Repair the damaged area. Cracks greater than 0.1mm must be fixed and make smooth by TOA Pro Putty or Supertech Pro Putty interior.

Apply 1 coat of premium multipurpose primer - TOA HYDRO QUICK PRIMER for chalky or powdery surfaces after making the surface clean.

- Dry film thickness: 35µm

- Wet film thickness: 85µm
