TOA Décor Penetrating primer is an aqueous liquid made from acrylic copolymer, which is specially designed to be able to absorb deeply into the substrate of concrete, gypsum, cement for hard and firm surface before applying TOA Décor Stone.

Intended use:

TOA Décor Penetrating primer is suitable to use as a primer on sand cement render, cement, cast-in-situ and precast concrete, light-weight concrete. It is the specialized primer before applying TOA Décor Stone.

The drying time, Relative Humidity (RH) 50%:
- Substrate temperature: 25°C - 30°C
- Surface (touch) dry: 0.5h-1h
- Hard dry: 7 days
- Painting interval, minimum: 1h-2h. The actual drying time and painting interval time may be longer or shorter, depending on the ambient temperature, film thickness, ventilation, humidity, number of paint coatings, etc.

Application tools: Brush, roller
Dilution: The paint is ready to use after proper stirring until homogeneous. If thinning is required, clean water may be added up to a maximum of 5%.

SURFACE PREPARATION

New surface

Let the concrete, cement plaster and mortar must be cured at least 28 days in ambient condition (average temperature is 25°C -30°C, relative humidity <75%),

the surface moisture is not exceed 16% (specialized measuring testing equipment). pH value is about 6-9.

Remove all dust, grease, wax, laitance, chalking and others contamination from the surface by specialized machine as: grinding, sanding, vacuum cleaner, high pressure water jet and proper cleanness.

Old surface

Remove all dust, fungus, algae, loose old paint or others contamination from the surface by specialized machine as: grinding, sanding, vacuum cleaner, high pressure water jet and proper cleanness.

Then, treat the areas attacked by fungus, algae with proper chemicals.

Wash the surface if required, let it fully dry, the substrate moisture must be lower than 16% (specialized measuring testing equipment).

Repair the damaged area. Cracks bigger than 0.1mm must be fixed and make smooth by plasters.

The surface must be hard, firm before application.
