MD 2IN1 is a direct-to-metal coating formulated from high-quality 1K acrylic resin. It provides an ideal integration of primer and topcoat functions in one product. With its special formulation, the coating adheres well to various metal substrates such as galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.

MD 2IN1 dries quickly and forms a tough, durable paint film that helps to reduce dirt pick-up, ensuring a clean and attractive surface over time.

It is suitable for both interior and exterior use, offering high economic efficiency while fully meeting strict requirements of consumer.

Intended use:

MD 2IN1 is specifically designed to protect and decorate a wide range of substrates including wood, galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals. It is ideal for coating applications on structures such as gates, fences, roofing sheets, pipes, steel frames, and difficult-to-adhere metal surfaces.

With excellent adhesion, fast drying, and a robust, durable film, MD 2IN1 PAINT requires no primer, saving time and cost. Product is suitable for both interior and exterior use, provides a long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Theoretical Coverage: 8.5 – 11 m²/liter/coat (Actual coverage depends on dry film thickness, surface texture, applicator skill, and application loss)
VOC Content: ≤ 620 g/L (actual value may vary depending on color)
Flash Point: ~27°C
Drying Time (50% RH, dry film thickness 30–40 μm):
- Substrate Temperature : 30°C
-Touch dry: 30 mins
- Hard dry: 2.5h
- Recoat, min: 2.5h

Tools/Methods: Brush, roller, conventional spray, airless spray
For airless spray:
- Nozzle size: 0.013” – 0.021”
- Angle to the surface: 65° – 80°
- Pressure at nozzle: 140 – 190 kg/cm² (2,000 – 2,600 psi)
Thinning Ratio: Thinning ratio may vary depending on weather conditions, application methods and equipment used. Using an improper thinner may cause paint precipitation.
- Conventional Spray: 60–80% by weight with TOA Thinner #74N
- Brush, Roller, Airless: 0–30% by weight with TOA Thinner #74N.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

- Surface must be dry, clean, free from rust, dust, oil, wax, or any contaminants that could reduce adhesion.

- For old surfaces, remove all loose and peeling materials, and clean rust and other contaminants from the surface using sandpaper or appropriate mechanical tools.

COATING SYSTEM

Primer + Topcoat: 2–3 finish coats MD 2in1

NOTE

- For yellow or red colors, it is recommended to use a white base coat #00111 or #00222 followed by 2–3 finish coats for optimal color appearance.

- Stir well before use, paint should be used up when opened.
