Epoguard W is a high build two pack liquid epoxy as a primer/ topcoat, containing no Coal Tar for use in interior lining for pipes and tank containing potable water.

This product is approved according to AWWA C 210 and TIS 1048-2551 for use in pipeline transporting drinking water.

It has excellent adhesion, toughness, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, resistance to sea water and water and high resistance to cathodic protection.

Intended use:

Epoguard W As an epoxy coating for pipeline interiors and exteriors, storage tank, penstocks, surge tanks, gates, circulating water lines, Concrete and Steel.

- Components: Binders, pigments, additives and solvents Color Blue
- Paint film appearance: Semi - Gloss
- Solid by volume: 70 ± 2 %
- Theoretical coverage: 1.8 – 3.5 m2/liter/coat or 6.6 – 13.2 m2/Gallon/coat. Actual surface coverage will depend on spreading ability of paint film, dry film thickness, surface irregularities, technique and wastage during painting.
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs): -
- Flash point: ~33ºC
- Surface temperature 35ºC, Drying time (at relative humidity (RH) 50% & dry film thickness (DFT) 200μm): Surface dry (touch dry)2h, Hard dry 6h, Painting interval, minimum 10h, Painting interval, maximum 4 days. Actual drying time and painting interval time may be longer or shorter than provided data, depending on environmental temperature, dry film thickness, ventilation, humidity and number of coatings applied, etc.

- Equipment/ methods: Brush, roller, conventional spray, airless spray
- For airless spray gun:
Nozzle tip size: 0.01” – 0.019”
Angle to the surface: 65º – 80º
Pressure at nozzle: 120 – 150 Kg/cm2 (1.800 – 2.100 Psi)
