TOA Silicone Sealant (GP)

TOA Silicone Sealant (GP) is a one component acetic cure silicone sealant, a room temperature vulcanizing with excellent adhesive strength, elasticity, UV resistant. Easy application and durable, suitable for general purpose sealing such as sealing leakage, glazing windows and ceramic.

TOA Silicone Sealant (GP) provides the following beneficial properties:

4. High durability, resistant to UV light.

Intended use:

TOA Silicone Sealant (GP) is mainly used to:
- Sealing of glass blocks and some plastics.
- Sealing around skylights and light fittings.
- Construction of glass display cabinets.
- Seal small leakage.

  • After use: Wash all tools immediately after use with cloth or/and suitable detergent.

Construction Guide

SURFACE PREPARATION:

- Substrate must be sound, free of loose or weak particles, dust and dirt. Oil and wax containing layers, as well as laitance must be completely removed.

- Clean the surfaces using cloth and a suitable solvent such as degreaser, IPA, MEK or White Spirit.

- For porous surfaces, abrade the surface to remove loose contaminants.

- Non-porous surface should be wipe twice times.

APPLICATION:

- Cut off tip nozzle and cartridge to the desired width.

- Fit into caulking apply on surface in steady flow

- For best results, Protect joint with masking tape before apply TOA Silicone Sealant (GP). Then, remove masking tape before sealant has started to cure.

- Smooth and shape sealant with spatula dipped in mild detergent.

RECOMMENDATION:

- TOA SILICONE SEALANT (GP) must be closed tightly after using.

- Do not swallow and avoid prolonged contact with eyes and skin, as this will cause irritation.

- If contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and consult physician.

- In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water.

- Wash all tools immediately after use with cloth or/and suitable detergent.

- Avoid unvulcanized silicone sealant to contact with food.
