TOA Roofseal Sun Block is an elastomeric acrylic emulsion filled with ceramic microspheres used for waterproofing and heat protection. It protects for both summer and monsoon without having to worry about leakage and UV against with the heat reflection technology comprise with 2 special components.

1. SRP (Solar Reflective Pigment) that can reflect heat up to 95%.

2. Insulation microsphere ceramic used for covering spaceship to protect from heat.

TOA Roofseal Sun Block provides the following beneficial properties:

1. Reflect over 95% of the sun heat

2. 100% proof seamless waterproof layer

3. High flexibility over 5 times or > 500% elongation

4. Prevent and good solve cracks on concrete caused by rapid change of temperature

5. Can be penetrates into cracks

6. UV resistance, harsh weather tolerance and abrasion resistance for traffic.

7. Good carbon dioxide impermeability.

8. Can be applied over a wide temperature range

Intended use:

TOA Roofseal Sun Block is designed for waterproofing and heat protection of:
1. Flat roof
2. Concrete and brick wall cladding
3. A gutter concrete
4. Asbestos roof tile
5. Bitumen roof
6. Metal sheet

Application tools: Brush, roller, or high-pressure spray gun.
After use: Clean the tools with clean water immediately after application.

Surface preparation:

The surface must be clean from dust, cement laitance and oil grease.
In case of mold and algae, brush and clean with TOA 113 Microkill leave it dry before coating with TOA Roofseal Sun Block.
Deformed paint or coating must be thoroughly cleaned before application.
Fill all cracks wide with TOA Polyurethane Sealant then leave it dry before coating with TOA Roofseal Sun Block.
Repair concrete crumbling or big cracks on surfaces with TOA Latex Agent prior to coating.
Polish the rust on metal surfaces prior to coating.

Application:

Stir well with low speed mixer before use, especially tinted.
If the roof slab, mix TOA Roofseal Sun Block with clean water in the ratio of 3:1 and apply as the primary coat, leave it to dry for 2 – 4 hours approximately.
If the metal sheet, apply TOA Rust Tech for rust prevention and enhance bonding ability to the paint and allow to dry.
If the roof tile is old, apply TOA Super Contact Sealer to enhance bonding ability of the paint and allow to dry.
If reinforcement is needed, use TOA Fiber mesh after the primary coat immediately and press against the surface.
Spray TOA Roofseal Sun Block with airless spray machine two or three times leave to dry for 2-4 hours in between.

Recommended:

The cracks must be sealed before the primary coat. Reinforce with TOA Fiber mesh while wet before coating with TOA Roofseal Sun Block 2 – 3 coats.
TOA Roofseal Sun Block should not be applied to new concrete less than 28 days old and other cementitious surfaces less than 7 days old.
Do not use TOA Roofseal Sun Block while raining.
TOA Roofseal Sun Block will have the highest effectiveness 7 days after installation
TOA Roofseal Sun Block uses for waterproofing for all horizontal (roof deck) or vertical masonry surfaces not suitable for long term water ponding (water tank).
TOA Roofseal Sun Block gets full resistance properties after 7 days.
Wash all tools immediately after use with water.
