MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Key Account Management:
  • Grow company’s wallet share and sales via direct/in direct sales, at Key Accounts (KA) -Developers and Main Contractors.
  • Build up, maintain direct contact with KA’ key personnel and understand authority chain of target accounts.
  • Make regular visits to develop top relationship with the aim to close deal and finalize contracts.
  • Conduct customers’ assessments and analyses to ensure the strategic focus is in the right place
  • Develop target KA relationship and develop action plan for each KA . Ensure continuity of effective communication with KA.
  • Perform customer mapping and identify key decision makers and understand authority chain of KA
  • Manage and keep updated all KA/project information and opportunity in Project Pipeline and Customer Management tools
  • Present and provide technical information necessary to customers.
  • Organize trainings and seminars with KA to raise their competency level and also get upstream info on projects to act more quickly and increase our chance to win.
  • Ensure all supporting functions involved in the delivery of agreed KA’ needs;
  • Follow KA sales through from early stage until sales collection to make sure successful sales from KA
  1. Sales management:
  • Achieve annual sales target of the assigned KA.
  • Define sales targets for each KA
  • Responsible for defining strategy, action plan to achieve the 3- year plan of KA in order to maximize potential of business of TOA in the KA and ensure the execution to deliver short term and long term result.
  • Ensure all sales must be done in respected to the commercial policies.
  • Promote cross selling & solution business to maximize all TOAV product/service/solution in the accountable segments.
  • Provide customer information and support credit team to define suitable KA’ credit limits;
  • Work closely with customer’ PIC to ensure on-time payment.
  • Define market/pricing plans and control pricing strategy for KA in line with length of authority to ensure profitability of project in the region.
  • Establish the necessary network with all project stakeholders in order to win the maximum number of projects.        
  • Define and implement specific actions, including KA’s presentation, in order to promote and create greater awareness of TOA products in our present and prospective client base.

3. Sales Pipelines Development: Identify, quantify & follow projects in the assigned KA:

  • Detect projects at early stage, analyze customer needs and find a solution from our product portfolio to apply to those needs.
  • Work with the end-users, consultants, contractors, interior designer, project dealer to promote & prescribe TOA Paint offers.
  • Visit the project decision-makers to specify TOA Paint’s products.
  • Update status of such projects within in project pipeline system.
  • Organize projects follow up and maintain updated project/customer list covering latest movement in the market to increase secure chance for TOA.
  • Follow up projects/KA through early stage (until completion) to ensure high secured chance and proper coverage of the market and identify untapped potential in order to sustain growth for long term
  1. Market development:
  • Identify potential partners and contribute to develop selected targets into new partnership.
  • Work closely with Channel Development Manager to define, deploy, and follow up panel builder plan in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct market study on projects & investment, competitors’ products/ positioning, market trends, customers’ needs to develop business solutions and contribute to build up business strategy; Collect the relevant information regarding on market intelligence activities reports on a regular basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degrees – Civil Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Chemical or Equivalent
  • More than 4 years’ experience in working in project sales for construction materials
  • Key Account Management experience with construction players (developers, main cons)
  • Having supervisory or managerial skill
  • Knowledge in Paint industry is a plus
  • Good understanding of market needs and market players
  • Understand company’s products and competitor’s
  • Knowledgeable in opportunity management and account management
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Computer literate and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail, self-starter, ability to learn, good communication skills and result-oriented
  • Able to work under pressure and willing to travel within assigned territory and overseas
